Merry Christmas. Ok well today is Christmas Eve and so we are all very busy. I had to set up a dollhouse for my sister from "Santa" and help my mom wrap presents all day yesterday. Today all the presents are wrapped and under the tree, and we are leaving for church at 1:15 where I will dance as part of two of the worship services. My sister and I have been working all morning on a dance for the Christmas Eve pageant that we do with our cousins when we get together tonight. I just finished reading the Christmas story in the Gospel of Luke, and I realized how out of focus things can get. I know all my brothers and sisters are thinking about is what Santa will bring them and whether he will have enough cookies or not. Making cookies, wrapping and buying gifts, making sure there is something for everyone's teacher. But doing daily advent readings every night can help us to refocus on the fact that the best gift, better even than the surround sound stereo system, is JESUS!! well, I have to eat lunch before I go, oh and by the way blithering idiot made cookies for the first time last night!

Lord of the Rings!!! Hello peeps readin this! This is my first entry on my new blog and I decided to write about the new Lord of the Rings movie: The Two Towers. The movie was great though different from the book. Don't worry I'm not going to give anything away! I think they changed it a little to put more of Frodo in, they added an extra part that wasn't in the book. They also didn't get as far in the story as the book did. If you have not read the book and are going to see the movie, I would advise you to read the book first! That will help you to understand the movie, which was confusing to the person we were with who had not read the book. But I really did enjoy the movie, we were at a very good theatre and had very good seats (we got there an hour early to get them though) OK, well I've said enough about this movie, but if you are trying to decide whether to see it or not, I definitely think you should go to the next showing that isn't sold out!
